College of the Arts

Art, design and performing arts are taking off in a big way in Singapore.

The Country’s ambition to be a global arts hub to attract and host world-class theatrical performances, dances, concerts, art exhibitions and international designers, has propelled the development of a multi-million dollar arts infrastructure. Arts education is equally important and a brand new state-of-the-art city campus for LASALLE- College of the Arts, costing S$150,000 and funded by the Singapore Government, is central to Singapore’s arts education growth.

LASALLE has a unique teaching philosophy that emphasises creativity.  Students are taught by experienced artists who are practising professionals and educators.  Students also work with invited international artists and performers, as well as participating in a dynamic programme of high-level exhibitions and performances.  Students receive the exceptional benefit of being able to work across all disciplines in what is the region’s only integrated arts campus.

All degree programmes offered at LASALLE have been developed by, and are taught by the College.  It does not offer any franchised programmes.  All the degrees are validated by the Open University Validation Service (UK) as being of the highest international quality.

LASALLE offers the widest range of arts programmes in Singapore – performing arts, design, media arts, arts management and other programmes related to the arts.

The College is pleased to offer a study abroad programme for international students who may wish to add LASALLE’s unique blend of contemporary art, western influence and South East Asian culture.

Study Abroad students are looked after by the support team in the International Office who assist with accommodation, student passes, induction and all other aspects of student life at the college.
