![]() College of the Arts Art, design and performing arts are taking off in a big way in The Country’s ambition to be a global arts hub to attract and host world-class theatrical performances, dances, concerts, art exhibitions and international designers, has propelled the development of a multi-million dollar arts infrastructure. Arts education is equally important and a brand new state-of-the-art city campus for LASALLE- College of the Arts, costing S$150,000 and funded by the Singapore Government, is central to LASALLE has a unique teaching philosophy that emphasises creativity. Students are taught by experienced artists who are practising professionals and educators. Students also work with invited international artists and performers, as well as participating in a dynamic programme of high-level exhibitions and performances. Students receive the exceptional benefit of being able to work across all disciplines in what is the region’s only integrated arts campus. All degree programmes offered at LASALLE have been developed by, and are taught by the College. It does not offer any franchised programmes. All the degrees are validated by the Open University Validation Service (UK) as being of the highest international quality. LASALLE offers the widest range of arts programmes in The College is pleased to offer a study abroad programme for international students who may wish to add LASALLE’s unique blend of contemporary art, western influence and South East Asian culture. Study Abroad students are looked after by the support team in the International Office who assist with accommodation, student passes, induction and all other aspects of student life at the college. The Tuition fees for 2007-08 are: Full year - S$14,000 1st Semester - S$7,500 2nd Semester - S$7,500 Accommodation costs for 2007-08 These range from S$400 to S$900 per person per month in a variety of locations close to the College Food is very cheap in Semester dates for 2007 – 2008 Semester 1 - 13th August - 21st December 2007 Semester 2 - 7th January 2008 - 2nd May 2008 |
